Callow Top Holiday Park (Derbyshire): Tissington Trail, Onsite Pub & Swimming Pool Would you stay at Callow Top Holiday Park in Derbyshire? We did, in our Coacman Avventura motorhome in September 2026. Callow Top is a child and dog friendly holiday park, situated just outside the town of Ashbourne in Derbyshire. This large campsite has hardstanding and grass pitches, depending on time of year. Leisure vehicles up to 9 metres in length can be accomodated. We booked at hardstanding pitch with 10amp electric hook up. The site boasts an outdoor swimming pool, which is heated. There is an onsite pub, called the Callow Inne, which is open at different times depending on season. It serves burgers and pizzas, as well as drinks. The site has three amenity blocks, to be fair, these are a bit dated and we chose not to use them. Fresh water taps are dotted around, we discovered the motorhome grey waste dump is actually on the driveway and not on the main site itself. The benefit of the site is, you can walk in to Ashbourne in about 20-25 minutes. Ashbourne is a lovely town, lots of shops and places to eat. You can access the Tissington Trail from the site, we have cycled on here before on our Mark2 ebikes. If you cycle away from Ashbourne on the trail it goes for miles and miles. You can join the Hugh Peak Trail. This is a beautiful off road bike ride and recommend. We paid £102 for 3 nights at Callow Top, one night beinga Friday, which is high season price.
