MAME KUROGUCHI Spring 2027 Paris - 4K Mame Kurogouchi Spring 2027 explored school uniform details as a starting point for reworking everyday wardrobe staples. Maiko Kurogouchi combined her signature fluid dresses, fitted jackets and slim trousers with elements of Japanese schoolwear. A gakuran jacket became a fluid ankle-length coatdress, oversized jackets were shaped closer to the body with rib darts, and sailor collars appeared on MA-1 jackets, dresses and knitwear. Construction and textile details remained central to the collection. A midi jersey shift dress was given a sculptural shape, while roomy trousers featured a softly corseted waist with curved pleating at the back. Embroidered trims, lightweight suiting, fading jacquard pinstripes, translucent zigzag patterns on collegiate sweaters and Lurex knitwear added texture and variation.
