Until We Feel Again

Storyboard: A muted indigo dusk smudges the towering brick of a quiet city building as a solitary shadow stands by a rain-streaked window. Across the cold pane, water beads trail down like lost, forgotten patterns, refracting the amber glow of passing streetlights below. On the wooden sill, a small brass clock spins its hands in silent, erratic loops, turning time into pure misdirection. The figure presses a cold palm against the glass, tracing a smudge where silver lines reflect the faint, rhythmic pulse beneath its coat. Down in the courtyard, a second traveler opens a faded crimson umbrella. For a single suspended breath, the heavy mist shifts, weaving a faint thread of amber light between the high window and the wet pavement—a fleeting illusion of connection. Then, the sweeping beam of a passing bus washes the glass in gold, shattering the spell. The red canopy glides onward into the fog, leaving only the endless patter of rain and a steady, hopeful ticking waiting to feel again.
