FORBIDDEN BELIEFS The eerie shadow of a gecko on the ceiling [ Asia Horror ]

"They say a gecko's cry is a warning from the unseen... but what if the warning comes from its shadow?" In many Asian cultures, an unusually large house gecko isn't just an animal—it's an omen, or worse, a spirit in disguise. When you look up at your ceiling in the middle of the night and see a shadow that is far too big and distorted to be a normal lizard... do not stare at it. And whatever you do, if it makes a sound, never answer back. The thing watching you sleep from the ceiling might not be a gecko at all. Will you be able to close your eyes tonight?
