On 8 September 2026 at 6pm KST, Doh Kyung-soo — EXO's D.O. — released his fourth mini album, DOPAMINE. Five tracks, with "Guitarist" as the title song. The release is the occasion. The story is the name on it. Blitzway Music sounds like a brand-new label. It is not. It is an existing label that a collectibles company bought and then renamed. THE SEQUENCE, WITH DATES 18 October 2023 — Doh Kyung-soo leaves SM Entertainment for his solo work and signs with Company SooSoo, an agency established by his long-time manager, Nam Kyung-soo. He does not found it and he does not own it. EXO stays at SM; only the solo half of his career moves. May 2025 — Blitzway acquires KLAP, an established music label. That acquisition is how the music business comes in-house. 5 November 2025 — Doh Kyung-soo signs an exclusive contract with Blitzway Entertainment. CEO Hong Min-ki cites acting, group activities and solo music. June 2026 — the subsidiary changes its name from KLAP to Blitzway Music. New sign on the door, existing company underneath. 8 September 2026 — DOPAMINE. His first release under the Blitzway Music name, and his first COMPOSITION credit, on "Sing It Loud". WHAT BLITZWAY IS Founded in 2009. Listed on KOSDAQ in 2021. It makes high-end collectible statues and figures under licence — Star Wars, The Matrix, Ghostbusters, The Boys. In 2024 it reported revenue of about USD 26.61m against EBITDA of minus USD 2.99m. It has subsidiaries in Japan and the United States, and it expanded beyond collectibles into artist management and drama production before the music label arrived. That EBITDA figure is a reported number and nothing more. This video does not suggest the label exists because of it. Nobody has said that, and attaching a motive to a company's accounts is the kind of thing that sounds insightful and is simply made up. FIRST COMPOSITION CREDIT — NOT FIRST WRITING CREDIT Be precise about this one. Doh Kyung-soo has written lyrics since 2021: "Rose" and "I'm Fine" on Empathy, later "Sing Along!" and the single "Dumb". What is new on "Sing It Loud" is the music — the melody and the structure. That is a different job from the words, and it is the first time his name is on it. Fourteen years after he debuted. THE LIMITS Nobody has explained why he moved. Not him, not Company SooSoo, not Blitzway. There is no statement giving a reason, so this video does not supply one, and it does not reverse-engineer a motive from a balance sheet. The terms of these contracts are not public. Nobody outside them knows what they say. And it is not yet clear how much the roster or the operation changes with the new name. A rebrand can mark a new strategy, or it can simply put the parent's name on a business that already existed. That gets answered by what the label does next, not by the logo. WHAT TO WATCH Whether the roster grows, and whether the KLAP operation changes beyond its name. Whether the composition credit becomes a pattern or stays a one-off. And whether the EXO arrangement holds, because the whole structure depends on the group half staying where it is. Thank you for watching.
