Watch now to gain valuable insights and knowledge on pulmonary fibrosis. Pulmonary fibrosis is a condition where the lungs become hard and unable to contract and expand completely, leading to a lack of oxygen in the body. This can cause symptoms such as difficulty breathing, chest heaviness, dry cough, respiratory failure, and even death. Causes of Pulmonary Fibrosis: Pulmonary fibrosis is primarily a secondary disease, with pre-existing diseases contributing to scarring and fibrosis. It is an effect of other conditions like COPD. Certain types of medicines can also cause pulmonary fibrosis, so it is important to avoid taking any medication without doctor's permission and discuss side effects with your doctor. Major pulmonary fibrosis can also result from cancer treatments like radiotherapy, which burns the body from inside, leading to fibrosis in the lungs. If the cause of fibrosis is unknown, it is called Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. This condition involves the patient's lungs becoming hard and shrinking, but the reason behind it remains unknown. Pulmonary Fibrosis can be differentiated from ILD (Interstitial lung disease). In ILD, the air sacs have fibrosis, making oxygen from the air sacs unable to reach the bloodstream. In pulmonary fibrosis, the patient's lungs also start to scar along with the air sacs, resulting in pulmonary fibrosis. The outlook or expected course of pulmonary fibrosis is progressive, and it is crucial for patients to stay in regular contact with their doctors and manage symptoms even as the lungs continue to scar. The progression of the disease can vary, with some patients experiencing rapid progression while others experience slow and steady progression. To prevent pulmonary fibrosis, it is essential to avoid irritants, allergens, and air pollution that can trigger the respiratory system by regular washing of hands, using face masks and not taking medicines without prescription. By following these guidelines, patients can better manage their symptoms and prevent further complications. Ayurveda promises prompt relief with enduring benefits as it treats diseases from the root. Initiating ayurvedic treatment for asthma and other respiratory diseases can significantly alleviate symptoms and improve overall well-being. ✅Follow Us on Instagram and Facebook✅ Instagram: /   / sriaas_asthma_clinic   Facebook: /   / ayurvedicasthma   To visit our hospital follow this location: click on the link below 👇 https://maps.app.goo.gl/fXfk3x1MZEqLE...
