Ultima IX: Ascension - Any% Speedrun in 40:41

Recorded in the PC room at ESA winter 23 on the last evening after almost everyone had either left or gone to bed. I had lost the splits for my previous record, so was running against a 42:00, which I got on the same evening, and in Paws I accidentally hit the hotkey for comparing against my average split times instead of personal best. So the splits aren't worth that much in this video, but at least I have some proper ones to run against now. The screen capture went black for a second or so in Despise for some reason, but I had at least 3 people in the room there with me who can verify the runs legitimacy. Shoutouts to Drunkenshoe, who was cringing heavily at listening to the game audio in his own language :D The timer was also a little weird at the end, but I retimed it to 40:41 As for the run itself, the only big mistakes were missing the Shame barrier timer and falling in the water while crossing the bridge in Trinsic. I went for the chair warp setup, which can sometimes take you all the way to Valoria, but only got the Trinsic teleport destination, so that by itself should make a sub 40 time very doable. I also found out, that you can apparently just hold enter instead of mashing it for a lot of dialogues. Not really that much of a time save, but it does make it more comfortable to run the game. I didn't do it here, as my muscle memory for the dialogues was still for mashing, and I didn't feel like practicing those bits first.
