The goal in this game is to guide a woman named Vera through a living nightmare built from the distorted and fragmented memories of her family's tragic past. Across three distinct chapters, you must reconstruct forgotten events, solve logic-defying environmental puzzles, and survive against a stalking, sinister presence known as the Mare Focus Memory Mechanic: Tap into Vera's fading perception to reveal hidden messages, uncover invisible memories, and alter the environment (such as locking or unlocking doors) to escape pursuers. Resource Management: Scavenge for scarce supplies like batteries for your flashlight, film for your camera, bulbs, and fuel for your lighter to navigate pitch-black corridors. Adaptive Sensory Horror: Rely heavily on directional audio—listening closely for floorboard creaks, giggles, whispers, or flickering lights—to track threats and stay alive in the dark. Cursed Plushies: Progress through blocked areas and unseal doors by locating hidden cursed teddy bears or plush toys and burning them using your lighter.
