7 Asian Camphor and Rosewood Hidden Treasures! (One Sold For $15,500,000!)

Free to browse, $27 to own: the 15-Minute Field Guide to Asian Antiques at Home → https://maylin181913.gumroad.com/l/ntdfz That heavy wooden chest at the foot of the bed — smelling faintly of mothballs — could be worth more than your car. Today we're counting down 7 camphor and rosewood chests hiding in American homes right now, from $200 hope chests to a pair of huanghuali cabinets that sold for $15.5 million in Beijing. You'll learn how to tell common camphor wood from true rosewood and huanghuali, what hardware, carving, and craftsmanship to look for, and why the wood itself matters more than the decoration. We cover: common camphor hope chest, camphor campaign chest, lacquered camphor chest, deeply carved camphor chest, small rosewood box and stand, huanghuali chair and small cabinet, and the large matched-pair huanghuali cabinet — the single most valuable category of furniture in the world. Plus the $18 million pedestal table, $9.1 million incense stand, and $1.5 million drum stools that prove it. Go check your bedrooms, closets, and attic tonight — then drop a comment with what you found and where you're watching from. I read every one.#antiquefurniture #antiques #vintagefurniture
