Using Future Precipitation Data to Inform Resilient Stormwater Design

During this webinar, we will look at new tools and guidance for how to more effectively apply climate-informed precipitation projections to resilient stormwater design decisions. First, Dr. Krista Romita Grocholski will introduce a new decision support tool for selecting projected intensity-duration-frequency (IDF) curve change factors when designing for future rainfall. Then, Ben McFarlane will discuss how the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission has approached resilient design guidance. We will conclude with an interactive discussion about what support is still needed and what may be on the horizon.
