What if the hardships you're facing are preparing you for something greater? In this powerful Islamic lecture, Belal Assad explains what it means to be chosen and favored by Allah. Through the stories of Prophet Yusuf (AS), Maryam (AS), Adam (AS), Ibrahim (AS), Yunus (AS), and other examples from the Quran, he reminds us that trials can become a means of spiritual growth, patience, and closeness to Allah. Discover the qualities that help a believer grow closer to Allah: Strong and sincere Iman. Patience through hardship and uncertainty. Staying away from sins and temptations. Remaining consistent in obligatory and voluntary worship. Returning to Allah through sincere repentance. Reading, understanding, and living by the Quran. Helping others with the blessings Allah has given you. Being chosen by Allah is not about fame, popularity, or status. It is about sincerity, faith, patience, and becoming a source of goodness for others. Never lose hope during difficult times. Keep trusting Allah, remain patient, and use every blessing to benefit those around you. May Allah strengthen our faith, purify our hearts, and make us among His sincere servants. Ameen.
