B-17G Ice Col Katy USAAF Natural Metal Finish (Airfix 1/72 scale model)

Painting and weathering the second of my Airfix B-17G builds, this time as the late WW2 aircraft Ice Col Katy (44-6115). In the video I use Vallejo Metal Colours to achieve the NMF, with Abteilung oil paints to aid in the weathering process. The B-17 G was the ultimate variant of the Flying Fortress, incorporating a chin turret for forward defense, improved position of the waist guns, and more.
