The super-simple video card takes shape: for 6502 and 6800 small 8-bit computers

In Part III of this series, I present the plans for and begin construction of a super-simple video interface for small single-board 8-bit computers. The video display chip is the Motorola 6847, the same one used in the legendary TRS-80 Color Computers; although, the design will work with any kit or homemade machine with a 6502, 6809/2, etc. - i.e, any CPU that addresses peripherals as memory addresses.
