Magdalena Bay - Human Happens (Forest Hills Stadium, NYC 9/17/26)

Night Two of The Hayley Williams Show at Forest Hills Stadium. I managed to get a few hours of sleep from the night before before embarking on my way to the stadium at 6:30 AM. There were a few fans around already and got fan numbered for #17. It did end up devolving in chaos as security would not really form a line before 9AM, but being that I rode my bike, I was able to cruise around until it was time. After the shuffle I ended up with the #20 wristband which was still great. My friends and I got brunch and then rested at home for a couple of hours. The Golden Apple VIP was worth the prices as I was able to secure a barricade spot right in front of the piano like I planned. It was so good to be up and close for Magdalena Bay and dance around as compared to being in seats the night before. Of course the Hayley set was bombastic from the front and you can probably see how shaky some of my footage is from me jumping and bopping. She's really one of a kind, and her band was incredible as well. It was so great seeing justice finally done for Petals For Armor, as the pandemic, among other things, took away the chance of touring that album. I had tickets to Brooklyn Steel too and was devastated when it went from postponed to eventually cancelled. Finally hearing Simmer, Dead Horse, Cinnamon, and others was a real treat. Of course everything from Ego death would sound good from the other shows I've seen her live, but the older tracks really hit. RX100VII + Tascam DR22-WL
