BROOOOO… WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT BASS?! 😭🔥 I’ve reacted to XG plenty of times now, but I genuinely wasn’t prepared for how HARD “UNDEFEATED” was going to hit me. The bass came in IMMEDIATELY and I was getting goosebumps all over the place. This production is so damn powerful while somehow being incredibly stripped back at the same time. The minimal drums leave SO much space for that heavy bassline to breathe, and I loved how XG’s rapping almost becomes another part of the percussion. The delivery is so hard-hitting that the vocals themselves start functioning like a rhythm. And then there’s the choreography… BRO. The formations, camera angles, transitions and sheer intensity of the performance had me locked in. It feels incredibly physical and aggressive without the production needing to become overly complicated. I also had NO IDEA what VALORANT had to do with this song going into the reaction, so I had to investigate. 😂 Turns out “UNDEFEATED” is an official collaboration between XG and VALORANT for **VCT Pacific 2024**, Riot Games’ Asia-Pacific professional VALORANT esports league. And honestly… once I found that out, the whole “UNDEFEATED” concept made even more sense. This is XG making music for competition. For pressure. For victory. And they absolutely understood the assignment. 🔥 I also couldn't get over how the song manages to feel HUGE while using such a minimal rhythmic foundation.
