Gathering Mountain Firewood to Bake Fresh Stuffed Bread | Rural Northern Iran

🌿 Join us for another hardworking and peaceful day in our village in Northern Iran, where simple living, traditional work, and homemade food come together. 🪵 Our day begins with Grandma carefully cleaning and sifting wheat, preparing it to be used for cooking and later grinding into flour. Meanwhile, Babak removes the old bean plants and prepares the soil for a new crop. 🐔 After feeding the chickens and farm animals, Bahar and Banafsh get ready for a challenging trip into the mountains. They cross the river, take their axe and rope, and head deep into the beautiful forest to gather firewood. 🌳 Along the way, enjoy the peaceful forest scenery and the beauty of nature in Northern Iran. After collecting enough firewood, they tie the logs together and make their way back home. 🔥 Back at home, it’s time for one of the most delicious parts of the day! Banafsh prepares fresh traditional stuffed bread. Local cheese and homemade local butter, both produced by the family, are grated and placed inside the bread before it is baked over the fire. 🥖 The smell of freshly baked bread fills the village, bringing this hardworking day to a delicious and memorable end.
