Love is the foundation of all the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Without love, the gifts have little impact, but when love flows through us, the gifts become effective and impactful. We also learned that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are activated through: Hunger and Desire – The greater our hunger for God, the greater the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We are called to earnestly desire and pursue His gifts. Impartation – God can release spiritual gifts through those who already carry them, imparting grace and empowerment to others.
