Donny Knew the Son | Alternative Rock Ballad

DONNY KNEW THE SON (AUTHOR’S VOICE VERSION) The Sons of Nobody Donny is a ragged old donkey with melancholy eyes, a blues guitar and considerably more perseverance than optimism. Long ago, he travelled with the Son toward Bethlehem. Along the way, they rested on the Hill of Dreams, watched burning bushes send their smoke into the sky, and spoke about humanity, kindness and the difficult business of making the world better. One was a donkey with no great expectations. The other was a king with no earthly kingdom. Inspired by biblical imagery and the traditional association between Jesus and the donkey, “Donny Knew the Son” is a gentle spiritual ballad about companionship, humility and the attempt to reach the human heart—even when success is uncertain. They travelled together to claim man’s heart and soul, and to make it all better. At least to try. An original song from the world of Godo, developed from the author’s RAW vocal performance. #TheSonsOfNobody #DonnyKnewTheSon #AuthorsVoice #OriginalSong #SpiritualBallad #ProgressiveRock #AlternativeRock #Godo #ConceptAlbum #BiblicalImagery
