China Chengdu- Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China is known in English as the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, or simply the Chengdu Panda Base. It is a government-funded, non-profit institute in Chengdu, Sichuan, dedicated to the protection, breeding, and research of giant pandas and other rare species, including red pandas. The base also serves as a public education center and a popular tourist attraction.
