This time, the Rownd 5X is machining a part for itself. In this video, we manufacture the custom spindle bracket used to mount the air cooling, mist cooling, and camera systems on the Rownd 5X. With its complex geometry and multiple machining angles, the entire part is produced in a single setup, demonstrating the capabilities of simultaneous 5-axis machining. Using high material removal parameters, we put the machine’s power and rigidity to work in a real production application.
