The Transjurassienne Cross-Country Ski Race: Easy French and Culture with FRANCE AND FRENCH

The Transjurassienne cross-country ski race through the spectacular scenery of the Jura Mountains takes place each year during the second week of February. This renowned competition is the biggest cross-country skiing event in France but open to anyone over 16. However, only the best skiers will make it to the end of what is usually a gruelling 70 km course. We followed the race last year to give you a flavour of what to expect. Our commentary is in both English and French with key words displayed on screen as we talk.
