Part 2 of my first morning in Udaipur, Rajasthan 🇮🇳
After unexpectedly reaching Gangaur Ghat before breakfast, I found Bagore Ki Haveli just a few steps away — and of course, curiosity won again.
Inside, I discovered royal courtyards, old balconies, carved doors, colourful windows, paintings, princely-state flags, rulers of Mewar, cultural scenes, traditional objects, beautiful jali stonework, and breathtaking views over Lake Pichola.
What fascinated me most was the amount of detail everywhere. Even practical things — windows, ventilation openings, doors and walls — were made beautiful. Every corner seemed to offer another surprise.
I kept wondering who once lived behind these windows, who stood on these balconies, what they worried about, what they loved, and what everyday royal life may have felt like.
This video also includes an original sung narration — sometimes serious, sometimes reflective, and sometimes not very serious at all. 😄
And yes… somewhere inside the museum I also met THE turban. 😂
For parts of the museum I simply let the traditional Indian music and the visuals speak for themselves.
