We Built Our Own Camper Van! Our First Colorado Road Trip in Retirement

Our First Colorado Road Trip in Our DIY Ford Transit Camper Van! 🚐🍂 Retirement is opening up a whole new world of adventures! Join my partner Kelly, our little traveling companion Luna, and me as we head out from Oklahoma toward the beautiful Colorado mountains in our self-built 2018 Ford Transit camper van! After months of working together to transform our passenger van into a cozy little home on wheels, we’re finally putting it to the test on a longer road trip. In this video, we’re packing up the van, hitting the open road, and making our way through Dumas, Texas, and Taos, New Mexico, as we travel toward Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Along the way, I’ll share a little about our DIY van conversion, what it’s like traveling in a camper we built ourselves, and the excitement of beginning a new chapter in retirement. We’re discovering that retirement isn’t about slowing down. It’s about having the freedom to explore, learn new things, and enjoy life’s unexpected adventures! Whether you’re interested in camper van conversions, retirement travel, scenic road trips, or simply finding inspiration for your own adventures, we’d love to have you along! ❤️ Subscribe to Vannalis and join us as we explore beautiful places, tackle DIY projects, and discover what life after retirement has to offer. And stay tuned for our next Colorado adventure, when things don’t go quite as planned! 🚐 Our adventures include: DIY Ford Transit camper van conversion Retirement and van life Scenic road trips and small-town discoveries Traveling with our miniature schnauzer, Luna Learning, creating, and enjoying the journey Thanks for watching!
