Passenger Attacks 2 Flight Attendants, Plane Turns Around

On March 10th 2025 An American Airlines flight took off from Savannah, then turned around and came back a passenger was attacking the cabin crew mid-air. According to the flight attendants, he was kicking the seat in front of him until it broke. When one of them walked up and asked if everything was okay, he lifted both feet and kicked her in the chest, throwing her across the cabin and into the side wall of the aircraft. As the plane pulled up to the jet bridge, he went after the second flight attendant, swinging on her and striking her arm. The flight returned to Savannah/Hilton Head International. Officers were waiting on the jet bridge and could see the struggle still going on through the window in the aircraft door before they were cleared to board.
