Allah asks the disbelievers of Quraysh a simple question. Is bringing you back to life harder than creating the heavens and the earth? In this lesson from Surah an-Naba (verses 6 to 17), Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan goes through the signs Allah lists as proof of His power: the earth spread out like a bed, the mountains as pegs, sleep that cuts off your tiredness, the night that covers you, the day for earning, the seven heavens, the sun, and the rain that brings out grain, plants and gardens. The lesson then turns to Yawm al-Fasl, the Day of Judgement. It covers why the day has that name and what will happen on it. It also covers why not even the Prophet ﷺ or Ibrahim عليه السلام could help their own families on that day.
