TRIP REPORT: Richmond - Fort Lauderdale on Delta Air Lines (MD-88, 737-800) (N905DE / N388DA)

You thought I would be flying back to Milwaukee, didn't you? Well this is part 2 of 3 of the Delta Air Adventure. It started out with me being in Richmond visiting my mom for a week, and then from there, I flew straight down to Fort Lauderdale to visit my grandparents for another week. I haven't thought about doing this kind of a vacation to vacation kind of a trip, but since I had a month off from college, might as well try it and see what it's like. I might have to do something like this again if I can next year depending on my schedule. Highlights of this portion of the trip include having bad weather up in Richmond, air traffic delays in Atlanta, riding the plane train, and of course flights on an MD-88 and a Boeing 737-800. It would've been cool if the second flight was another classic MD-88/90, but this just comes to show that it's nice that you get some entertainment in front of you on the 737's. (Ironically enough, when I originally booked this my first flight was on an MD-90 and the second was an MD-88) So come and join me for part 2 of 3 of this journey.
