You linger just long enough to watch someone almost beat their high score, then wander next door to flip through records, hoping this is the week they finally restock that album you've been chasing. By the time you step back outside, the streetlights are starting to flicker on, and the block has that particular golden-hour hum — the record shop's neon glowing pink against the dusk, the diner sign warming up for the night ahead. You don't rush. Nights like this were never meant to be rushed.
