Three Fingered Jack Summit Climb | South Ridge Route

Follow four mountaineers as they summit Three Fingered Jack! We started at the Santiam Pass Trailhead near Sisters, OR. We climbed the South Ridge Route. We did this climb on June 30, 2023. We hiked along the Pacific Crest Trail and through a burnt out forest from the B&B Complex Fire from 2003. Near the mountain, we turned onto the climbers trail to go up the South Ridge. As we made our way up the ridge, we had to navigate a section of the climb called the "Crawl" due to it being very steep and slow to navigate. Once through the "Crawl" we made it to the summit block which is a low 5th class climb to the summit. We had amazing views of the surrounding mountains (Mt. Washington, Black Butte).
