LIVE: CM Revanth Reddy at Bhoomi Puja for Gnana Saraswati Temple Renovation, Basara, Nirmal dist

As part of the "Praja Palana – Pragathi Planana", Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy visits Nirmal and Adilabad districts today. The Chief Minister participates in the Bhoomi Puja for the renovation of the renowned Basara Sri Gnana Saraswati Temple, a prominent pilgrimage site in Nirmal district. The Chief Minister will also formally launch several development works in the district. Several ministers and public representatives are accompanying him during the visit. The Telangana State Government has allocated ₹225 crores for the reconstruction of the ancient Basara Gnana Saraswati Temple, originally consecrated by Sage Vedavyasa. Following a master plan developed under the guidance of the Sringeri Peetham pontiffs, the temple’s built-up area is being expanded from 20,000 to 62,000 square feet. As part of the project, a massive nine-story Rajagopuram (temple tower), processional streets on all four sides, and a sacred pond (Koneru) with meditation halls in the northeast corner are being constructed using black stone (Krishna Sila). To accommodate the large influx of devotees, modern queue complexes with a capacity for 6,000 people, a free food distribution center (Annadana Satram), a Prasadam distribution center, and spacious parking facilities are being established. The construction pace is being accelerated to ensure that all amenities are fully operational in time for the 2027 Godavari Pushkarams, scheduled in June next year. The primary objective of this project is to transform the temple into a magnificent and aesthetically pleasing spiritual abode. It ensures that children arriving for Aksharabhyasam (initiation into learning) rituals, along with their families, face no inconveniences and have a deeply fulfilling spiritual experience. ప్రజా పాలన - ప్రగతి ప్రణాళిక కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ఈ రోజు నిర్మల్, ఆదిలాబాద్ జిల్లాల్లో పర్యటిస్తున్నారు. నిర్మల్ జిల్లాలోని ప్రఖ్యాత పుణ్యక్షేత్రం బాసర శ్రీ జ్ఞాన సరస్వతి ఆలయ పునరుద్ధరణ పనులకు భూమిపూజలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పాల్గొంటారు. జిల్లాకు సంబంధించిన పలు అభివృద్ధి పనులకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు శ్రీకారం చూడతారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారి వెంట పలువురు మంత్రులు, ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులు హాజరవుతారు. వేదవ్యాస మహర్షి ప్రతిష్టించిన ప్రాచీన బాసర జ్ఞాన సరస్వతి ఆలయ పునర్నిర్మాణానికి తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం 225 కోట్ల రూపాయలు కేటాయించింది. శృంగేరి పీఠాధిపతుల సూచనల మేరకు రూపొందించిన మాస్టర్ ప్లాన్ ప్రకారం, ఆలయ విస్తీర్ణాన్ని 20 వేల నుండి 62 వేల చదరపు అడుగులకు పెంచుతున్నారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా 9 అంతస్తుల భారీ రాజగోపురం, నాలుగు వైపుల మాడ్ వీధులు, ఈశాన్యాన కోనేరు మరియు ధ్యాన మందిరాలను కృష్ణ శిలలతో నిర్మించనున్నారు. భక్తుల రద్దీని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని 6 వేల మంది సామర్థ్యంతో ఆధునిక క్యూ కాంప్లెక్స్‌లు, అన్నదాన సత్రం, ప్రసాద కేంద్రం మరియు విశాలమైన పార్కింగ్ సౌకర్యాలను కల్పించనున్నారు. ప్రత్యేకంగా వచ్చే ఏడాది జూన్‌లో జరిగే 2027 గోదావరి పుష్కరాలకు భక్తులకు అన్ని వసతులు అందుబాటులో ఉండేలా పనులను వేగవంతం చేయనున్నారు. అక్షరాభ్యాసాలకు వచ్చే చిన్నారులకు, వారి కుటుంబాలకు ఎటువంటి ఇబ్బందులు కలగకుండా, ఆధ్యాత్మికతను సంతృప్తి పరచే విధంగా ఈ క్షేత్రాన్ని సర్వాంగ సుందరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దడమే ప్రాజెక్ట్ ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం. #CMRevanthReddy #BasaraTemple #PrajaPalanaPragatiPranalika #SriGnanaSaraswatiTemple #GodavariPushkarams2027
