Wanderings in Portsmouth: Historic Walls, the Royal Garrison Church, the Cathedral & More Join me for another Wanderings through historic Portsmouth, continuing my exploration along the city's old walls. Starting where my previous Portsmouth Wanderings ended, I follow the old city walls towards the Square Tower and the nearby war memorials, before reaching Nelson's statue. I then visit the fascinating Royal Garrison Church and continue wandering through Portsmouth's historic streets towards Portsmouth Cathedral. After exploring the Cathedral, I make my way back towards the harbour, where this Wanderings comes to an end. Along the way, I share useful information and stories about Portsmouth's fascinating history and the places I discover.
