Koi Shama Sheeshe Ki Laya | NIKAMMA (1976) | JAANEJAAN (1983) | R.D. Burman | Gulshan Bawra | Kishore Kumar | Randhir Kapoor & Neetu Singh | HQ Vinyl Rip “Koi Shama Sheeshe Ki Laya” - Presenting a vinyl extract of this Birthday song (incidentally on my birthday today - June 19th) from the original film Nikamma whose soundtrack was released in 1976 on Polydor records but eventually the film couldn’t be completed that time and later on released in 1983 as Jaane Jaan. One of the finest songs of Kishore-RD collaboration. A beautiful composition of R.D. Burman with some great lyrics from the lyricist Gulshan Bawra with superb rendition by Kishore Kumar. The on screen actors were Randhir Kapoor and Neetu Singh. 25 years back during the cassette era this song use to be a rare one and not easily available on cassettes. *Song Requested by Subscriber: Adikesavan **Current Copyright: Universal Music (UMG)
