In this video we will tour the neighbourhood around sewri naka market and a hill top slum and the changing landscape due to development work. The video begins around the sewri market which has a local maharashtrian flavour and character as Marathi people sell marathi items.There are vegetable and fruit market,homemade spices and condiments.There is also a fish market. As we proceed further there are two clusters of slums on hills which flank both sides of the road.As we climb and see the hutments,it amazingly contrasts with the new constructions mushrooming all around.We amaze about the power dynamics which give rise to slums right at the heart of a city.
