A beautiful idol of Lord Ganesha, popularly known as ‘LOC Ka Raja’, has arrived in Poonch from Mumbai ahead of the Ganesh Utsav celebrations. The idol received a warm welcome from residents of the Power House locality amid chants and celebrations. The grand installation of ‘LOC Ka Raja’ Ganpati Bappa is scheduled to take place at the Shiv Durga Bhairav Temple in Poonch. According to the organisers, the Ganesh idol is sent from Mumbai every year and holds special significance for the people of Poonch, which is located near the Line of Control (LOC).
