Southern University was back at A.W. Mumford Stadium on September 19th, taking on Louisiana Christian University in an in-state matchup. The Jaguars came out strong and controlled the game early, building a 30-10 halftime lead before finishing with a 50-31 victory. Trey Holly put on a huge performance with 200 rushing yards, while Mike Franklin added 130 yards, giving Southern an impressive 330 combined rushing yards.
