Made a visit to Oatman Arizona, a wonderful little former mining town. Their claim to fame is their herd of wild burros and the Oatman family massacre. The Oatman Massacre occurred in March 1851 when the Oatman family, traveling in Arizona, was attacked by Native Americans, resulting in the deaths of Royce and Mary Oatman and four of their children. Olive and her younger sister Mary Ann were captured and later released after several years of captivity. #arizona #oatman
