This setup fits Kassadin's identity best and helps him hit his spikes consistently. I may cover other rune pages in future videos, but this is the one I recommend. Items Dark Seal is my default. Dorans Helm vs threatening burst. I try my best to avoid Dorans Shield. Dorans Ring has a place for specific playstyles, might cover it in the future. Rod of Ages should always be your first item. While glass-cannon builds exist, ROA is the most consistent option. Because of ROA's HP, I prioritize defensive boots. I also try to base early for a Tear so it starts stacking before ROA is completed. After ROA, upgrade Tear into Seraph's Embrace or Muramana. Go Muramana if you need more physical damage; otherwise, Malignance + Seraph's is the strongest magic damage setup. No matter which path you choose, Seraph's Embrace is always part of the final build. Finish by building defensive items based on the game.
