Synopsis – Pavsacha Nibandh (पावसाचा निबंध) : Pavsacha Nibandh is an award-winning Marathi short film directed by Nagraj Manjule. The story revolves around Raja, a young village boy who is assigned to write an essay about the beauty and blessings of the monsoon. However, as he returns home, he is confronted with the harsh realities of his own life: poverty, a leaking house, relentless rain, and a father struggling with alcoholism. Through Raja's eyes, the film poignantly contrasts the romanticized idea of rain taught in schools with the difficult realities faced by marginalized rural families
