Somebody asked me in the comments why I never have anything to say to women. Why all the advice is for men. The honest answer is that I avoid it, and this video explains why, and then says the one thing I am willing to say anyway. WHY I AVOID IT In 2023 I made a video about choices and consequences for young women. I was around 200,000 followers on TikTok and that was the biggest audience I had ever had. The comment section after that video was the worst I have seen. Men argue. Men engage. You can reason with a man in a comment section and he eventually listens. That has not been my experience the other way, and beyond the insults there is the part that follows, where somebody decides you have said something that cannot be said and the whole thing stops being a conversation. So I stay in my lane, which is men, because that is where I can actually do some good. WHAT MADE ME SAY SOMETHING ANYWAY The video everybody saw this week of a young woman being bullied in a club washroom. I am not showing it and I am not naming anybody. But flip the script. If a group of men had done that and filmed it, we would already be talking about arrests and a case number. Instead we got a public apology, and I do not believe in public apologies. Choices have consequences. THE ONE THING I WILL SAY Choices have consequences, and that applies to everybody. Healing is not alcohol. It is not piercing yourself. It is not covering yourself in tattoos because you are going through something. Those are not solutions, they are decisions you will still be living with at 30. And we should stop normalising the idea that the fastest way to get paid is to sell yourself. It has been glamorised into something it is not. The same person at 30 is carrying depression from decisions made at 21, and nobody who cheered is anywhere near her. The lifestyle content you are watching is being funded by something. It is rarely being funded by the work. Work for your money. Everything I say about skills applies to you too. It was never advice for men only. AND THE PART FOR MEN This one is on us as well. Build the women in your life. I teach my girlfriend what I know. Virtual assistance. Metricool. Social media management. Not because she asked, but because I would rather hand her a skill than a compliment. You cannot be making a million shillings while the person next to you does nothing but Netflix, and then wonder why things are the way they are. What seed are you planting in her? TO ANY YOUNG WOMAN WATCHING Preserve yourself. Take care of yourself. Respect yourself. Not for a man and not for a husband. For you. And none of this is about hating men. You came from a man. Everybody loses when that is the conversation. No bitterness. I am saying it as it is.
