I Gave a Jumping Spider a Problem to Solve

How smart are jumping spiders, really? I designed a simple challenge to see whether Beans, my jumping spider, could solve a problem she'd never encountered before, and whether she'd remember the solution the next day. What happened over the following week completely changed the questions I was asking. While this isn't a scientific study, I did my best to base the experiment on what researchers have discovered about jumping spider learning, memory, and problem-solving.
