2008 to 2020 Altec DC1317 and DC1217 with a Kubota Diesel Engine
Basic service points.
Manual calls for greasing everyday. I think that's too much. Every couple of days if you are using it a lot or once a week if not. I use grey Molly HP grease.
Manual says trailer wheel bearing get it yearly or 20,000 miles. Because they are EZLube I hit them every couple of months and then thoroughly clean them out and grease by hand every couple of years.
Engine oil and filter every 100 hrs. Ya ok, 100 to 200 or when it's looking dirty.
I use Chevron Delo 400 15W40. It's the best.
Fuel filter every 1,000 hrs. Fuel filters are cheap, injectors aren't so maybe every 500 hrs.
Coolant every 1,000 hrs. If it's looking dirty or watered down I change it.
Hydraulics. Manual says the change the fluid every year. Thats total overkill.
If the fluid becomes heavily discolored or milking change it. The filters are good for 500 hrs or so. Also there is a breather filter on the side of the filter mount. Clean that too.
I use Napa AW46 for Mediterranean climates. You may need a different viscosity.
I find it best just to take a few hours every weekend to check all your fluid levels and filters. Blow out everything and give every zerk 1 to 4 shots. Take a look at your blades, maybe touch them up with a diamond sharpener or flip them if needed. Check your tire pressure and look for bubbles in the tread. Blow out the radiator, ect. That is usually adequate for normal use with is about 20hrs a week.
