Coring a Large Cherry Bowl Blank | with the McNaughton Center Saver Sam Angelo

Coring is one of the best ways to get multiple bowls from a single large piece of wood. In this video, I demonstrate the process using the McNaughton Coring System on a large cherry bowl blank. Instead of turning all that beautiful wood into shavings, the curved coring cutter removes individual bowl blanks from inside the larger piece. I’ll show the cutting process, tool positioning, and how several useful bowls can come from one blank.
