Today I’m reacting to Andorra’s journey in the Eurovision Song Contest from 2004 to 2009, and honestly… it makes me a little sad how short their time in the contest was. 😔🇦🇩 As an American looking back at these years, I’ll be honest — this era of Eurovision wasn’t my favorite overall. There were only a few songs I personally connected with. However, Andorra is one of those countries where you can clearly see real improvement year after year. The songs, staging, confidence, and overall package were getting stronger as time went on. That’s why it feels especially disappointing that Andorra withdrew when they did. I genuinely believe that if they had continued competing, they would have eventually qualified for the final. They were absolutely heading in the right direction, and their growth deserved more time on the Eurovision stage.
