Baritone Anthony Rogers (1951-1993), who also played bass guitar, worked with Fred for a decade before his passing. Bernard “B. J.” Jones (1944-2021), who sang with a variety of groups including Dino and the Heartspinners, Dock Green’s Drifters, the Cleveland Still Dubs, and the Persuasions from the 1970s into the 2010s, is the bass. The Satins’ musical director at the time was keyboardist Ray Crenshaw.
