Alpaca Shearing Day 2025 | Zues, Bella, Gabrielle & Fiona Get Their Summer Cuts!

Today was our annual alpaca shearing day here at the ranch! 🦙✂️ Zues, our only male, gave us a surprise by being a little feisty this year. Bella followed, with some mild scratching but nothing too serious. Gabrielle, who might be part llama, had less fiber than the others but was calm and sweet. And then there’s Fiona—the screamer—with her gorgeous two-toned fiber that always steals the show. These lovable alpacas are ready for summer now, and we’ve got bags full of fiber to show for it!
