Open Padel Match | Jordan & Liam vs Lewis & Connor | Loss 3–6 3–6 | Rematch Incoming

A short but tough open game — and one that could have been a seriously good battle under different circumstances. Liam and I took on Lewis and Connor, with all four players closely matched in level. Unfortunately, Liam picked up a recurring injury early in the first set, around the second game. It’s an injury he’s been trying to overcome, and although he was clearly struggling, he battled through the pain to complete two sets. Set 1: 3–6 ❌ Set 2: 3–6 ❌ Set 3: Not played Fair play to Liam for sticking with it and getting through the two sets despite being in pain. Unfortunately, the injury meant he couldn’t show his full potential, and we weren’t able to continue into a third set. This really would have been a super match with the levels so tight across both sides. There were still some nice patterns of play, good rallies and quality shots throughout the short game. Credit to Lewis and Connor — they did what was needed and deserved the win. But this one definitely has REMATCH written all over it.
