Riding Bandros: A Casual POV Bus Tour Through the City

RIDING BANDROS | Bandung Tour on Bus - City, History & Heritage. Come ride Bandros with me as I explore the heart of Bandung, West Java, from the seat of one of the city's iconic tourist buses. Starting from Alun-Alun Bandung, this 30-minutes POV ride takes us through some of Bandung's most interesting streets and landmarks - from Banceuy, Bandung Station and Viaduct, to Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Taman Balai Kota, Taman Sejarah, Jalan Riau, Jalan Banda, Jalan Belitung, Taman Lalu Lintas, Jalan Sumatera, Jalan Tamblong, Asia Afrika, and back to Alun-Alun Bandung. Along the way, we pass places connected to Bandung's history, including the former Banceuy Prison, Gedung Indonesia Menggugat, Grand Hotel Preanger, Gedung Merdeka and the Museum Konferensi Asia Afrika. I'll also share a few stories and urban legends along the way - including the famous Rumah Kentang and spooky stories around Jalan Belitung. Just remember, the spooky ones are legends and local stories, not proven historical facts. 😄 Bandros itself - short for Bandung Tour on Bus - was officially launched on December 31, 2013, as a city-tour bus designed to introduce visitors to Bandung's landmarks, history, and culture.
