Ep 74 ~ Two Storms, a Dead Fridge & a Sleepless Night

A storm is building, and aboard Rhapsody, the refrigerator battery dies and the fridge starts leaking. Tim and I talk over the radio, trying to decide whether to stay put or attempt to outrun the weather. After a sleepless night, I cook the meat before it spoils, and then learn another storm is on the way. Once we make it to the dock, I refuel and look ahead to the Gulf crossing. I’ll need help, Rhapsody has no autopilot, so I put out a call to the crew. Carol answers, but first I have 80 miles to sail to Panama City to pick her up. The journey continues south from Mobile toward the Florida Keys. #Sailing #SailingLife #SailingRhapsody
