Horse's Weight Loss / Dylan the Irish Cob / Fat to Fit 2020

In October 2019 the farrier pointed out that Dylan the Brave had stretched laminae in one of his forefeet. He was overweight but had seemed okay and was getting some exercise but the fact was he needed to lose the weight and get fitter before the stretched laminae ended up in full blown laminitis!! So a journey began. Simple really - less food and more exercise but it doesn't mean you can't have fun doing it!! This video shows clips from the year and the dramatic weight loss both Dylan the Brave and Chief had, whilst at the same time having fun and staying healthy. Hope you enjoy the video.
