The Lost Season. The Story of South Western City Schools

South-Western City Schools is one of Ohio's largest school districts. And in 2009, it became a national story. After years of budget cuts and several failed operating levies, the District was running out of options. When voters rejected another levy by the narrowest of margins, the cuts took effect immediately. Football. Volleyball. Band. Choir. Clubs. High school busing. Nearly every extracurricular activity was eliminated. Overnight. It was a year they could never get back.
