ROOVE: maniosa - Don't Stand Too Close To The Speaker [RV020]

maniosa's "Bear 101" EP is a seven track run built around tension, groove and gradual immersion. It captures the feeling of walking into a club right as the room starts to close in: raw, focused and immersive, made to hold the floor and slowly dissolve any sense of time. He works with atmosphere and emotional depth rather than obvious hooks, leaning on repetition and small shifts that pull the listener in rather than hit them over the head. That same instinct runs through "Bear 101", from the tension of "The Room Obeys" to the closing pull of "Last Corridor". Tracklist: 1. The Room Obeys 2. Bleeps And Harsh 3. Body Is A Machine 4. A Bouncy Shi 5. Don't Stand Too Close To The Speaker 6. Friction & Discipline 7.
